Honouring the Outstanding

Lokmat Parliamentary Awards were incepted in 2017, it is our initiative to honour the parliamentarians who bring about progress, create hope and are a source of inspiration and pride for our country.

As one of the leading media groups of the country, the Lokmat Media group felt the need to institute an award in various categories that would recognise such individuals who rose above the rest while serving the nation, to motivate and inspire them.

Buoyed by the success of similar awards for the Maharashtra legislators, the Lokmat Media group brought this concept at the national level in the year 2017, which was the first by any media house in the country.
